ABOUT WRMS MUSIC CLUB
We are a group of WRMS students who are passionate about playing music and equally passionate about sharing our music passion with our community. We hope that you will not only have fun at our meetings but can also become a better music player through our guided practice. We will organize several performances throughout the year. These can be either at senior centers, an elementary school, or other types of public events. Please join us if you love music, want to improve, and enjoy performing!

THE FOUNDERS
DAVID WANG
President
My name is David Wang. I am an 8th grader at WRMS. I have been playing the violin since I was 7. I like the violin because I think the violin has the most beautiful sound and I can play together with my friends in ensembles and orchestras. Having studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music during the past 3 years, I am now playing in the California Youth Symphony. We started the WRMS Music Club so we can share our passion for music with others and use our music to bring joy to the community.
KEVIN PHONGSA
Vice President
Hello, my name is Kevin Phongsa and I am a 7th grader at WRMS. I have played the piano since I was five. I have participated in several piano competitions and have earned prizes.  I have played violin for three years and I love music. Instruments make beautiful sounds, which I want everyone to hear and enjoy. I have performed in many times for recitals, school shows, senior centers. I want to encourage other people to play music!
CHLOE RONG

My name is Chloe Rong and I'm a 7th grader at Windemere Ranch Middle School. I have been playing the violin since Kindergarten and it's something that I love doing. I've played at Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum, the California Youth Symphony and was accepted by Oakland Youth Orchestra this year. Now, I'm playing in a chamber music program. I enjoy playing music with others and helping them improve. The WRMS Music Club is a way for students to share their love for music and to have fun, and I hope you decide to join us.
JESSICA PHONGSA
Senior Advisor
Jessica Phongsa is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School and the Senior Advisor for the WRMS Music Club. She has been playing the violin for about six years, and the piano for 10. Ever since fourth grade, she has participated in school and outside orchestras such as CYS and GSYO. She is also a student at the Pre-College at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has won prizes in multiple competitions for both violin and piano.
